Nationwide Chick-Fil-A Delivery Means Never Having To Put Shoes On Again

Chick-fil-A, the extremely popular fast-food chain, creator of our favorite fast-food sauce, and slinger of cult-status waffle fries, now delivers nationwide. That means you, Takeout reader, could be lounging shirtless on your cat-hair-covered couch, digging into a Spicy Chicken Deluxe—with waffle fries, obviously—without ever having to put on shoes or leave your home. What a time to be alive, etc.

QSR Magazine reports the fast-food chicken chain has expanded its partnership with DoorDash to provide delivery to most of its national footprint, about 1,100 stores. Chick-fil-A piloted delivery via DoorDash in 2017, and the company says it gained some insights during that initial trial period, such as:

• 90 percent of delivery orders include waffle fries (duh)
• Delivery orders peak during dinner hours on days with crappy weather (duh times two)
• Chick-fil-A locations near hospitals and colleges had the highest delivery sales
