Smoked SPAM® Brand Barbecue Sandwich

Here's our homage to the Oklahoma smoked bologna sandwich. A stovetop smoker—which can be bought for about $30—makes a huge difference, but otherwise, you could easily substitute with SPAM® Brand Hickory Smoke.

  • 1 can SPAM® Brand
  • BBQ sauce
  • Coleslaw
  • Brioche bun
  • Bread & Butter Pickles

    • Slice SPAM® Brand lengthwise into two (or three!) thick pieces. Smoke SPAM® Brand with hickory wood for 10 minutes. Once smoked, pan fry until slices turn crunchy. Meanwhile, toast brioche bun. Layer SPAM® Brand slices onto the pun, slather on with your favorite barbecue sauce, then top with creamy coleslaw, plus bread and butter pickles.
