Run For The Couch: Taco Bell Delivery Coming Soon
Let he who has never been too hungover to put on sweatpants in order to eat a Cheesy Gordita Crunch cast the first stone. Taco Bell hears our pleas, lazy Bell fans, and announced that it's reached an agreement with some franchisees to introduce delivery in 2018. QSR reports that delivery will be part of new tech initiatives that also include self-serve kiosks and group ordering.
It's unclear how many restaurants will begin offering delivery, but we applaud Taco Bell for its tireless efforts to get more chalupas into our sedentary face holes. The delivery initiative follows a number of recent "innovations" from T-Bell, including alcohol sales and even a proprietary beer at one location in California.
In other cheese-covered-food-delivered-straight-to-your-door news, Cheesecake Factory has partnered with GrubHub to offer delivery in 18 states. Perhaps a multicourse meal of Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos Supreme® followed by a Toasted Marshmallow Smores Galore cheesecake?™ Be still my heart.
