Man Tries To Buy Hot Dog With Weed At Circle K
A man walked into a convenience store (in guess which state in the union! you'll never guess!) in Ocala, Florida, and tried to barter some weed for food. The Ocala Star Banner reports that police were called to the Ocala Circle K "to investigate illegal drug activity" after an employee contacted 911. The employee stated that a man walked into the store, came right up to the register, and "put the dope in a tissue and then into a cup and gave it to her for a hot dog." That guy picked the wrong Circle K cashier, as the employee took the cup and called the police straightaway.
The man, Danny DeJesus, was charged with "sell/delivery of marijuana." He denied the allegations. He had previously been charged with trespassing and is also wanted for fraud, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property, according to the Star Banner. Looks like he's apparently more interested in theft than in bartering, although his hot dog for weed swap sounded like a decent deal to us.
