PUNCH’s Mini Bar

Mixology doesn’t have to be complicated.

When you’re just getting started building your bar cart, it’s intimidating to jump straight to a tome like Death & Co.’s cocktail book. If you’re at more of a 101 level, you can’t do much better than PUNCH’s new Mini Bar set, a collection of eight slim, sleekly designed recipe books organized by spirit. Each contains about a dozen essential recipes, plus a few pages for writing down your own creations. And it costs just $20—FYI friends, you’re all getting these as holiday stocking stuffers. Your perfect autumnal soundtrack

There are only two weeks left of my favorite month of the year! I just can’t wear all these sweaters and drink all these pumpkin lattes and eat all these apple crumbles fast enough. Maybe it’s time to wind down with my favorite autumnal album: Frank Sinatra’s In The Wee Small Hours. His Ava Gardner breakup album and perfectly encompasses the chilly melancholia of the season. Enjoy, but don’t be surprised if you soon ditch those lattes for some seasonally appropriate amber liquor (speaking of cocktails). [Gwen Ihnat]
