Maymo the dog chef

It’s true, friends, we can’t catch everything. When we published a list yesterday of video series about cooking that we’ve been enjoying lately, we did neglect to mention the most delightful cooking video series of them all—which is watching the delightful dog Maymo cook and bake. Through some effective photography, these wordless videos sell the ideas that the adorable Maymo is actually cooking—so of course he would add dog biscuits and bacon strips to his pizza, smash garlic with a spatula, and lick tomatoes right out of the can. Fortunately there are a bunch of these on YouTube, and we just can’t get enough of them. Maybe because Maymo’s chef’s hat is so fetching. [Gwen Ihnat]
