It’s National Fried Chicken Day, so let’s figure out whose chicken is best

Today is National Fried Chicken Day, and we’re trying to figure which mass market battered, breaded, deep-fried poultry is best. To answer this question, we bought chicken from America’s largest fast food fried-chicken franchises—KFC, Popeyes, and Church’s—fed a dozen hungry Onion Inc. employees, and had them declare a winner with a blind taste test.

I suppose they got the "mild" chicken from Popeye's for the purposes of this blind test, because getting the "spicy" would have been a dead giveaway. But everyone knows that you always get the spicy chicken from Popeye's, with red beans and rice on the side - which is also why you always choose Popeye's over the other two.

If you're not sure where to get Church's chicken, just head to the bad part of town.

And I'm not sure what Brown's did to deserve getting left out of this taste test entirely (not that I think the judges would have gone nuts over it or anything.)
