This season we’re focusing on classic cocktails, and to guide us we’ve brought back Chicago bartender Laura Kelton as our guru. In this episode, Kelton teaches us how to make the Bee’s Knees, the classic gin sour cocktail made with lemon juice and honey.
2 oz. gin
0.75 oz. honey syrup (1:1 honey-to-water)
0.75 oz. lemon juice
Combine ingredients into shaker tin with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain (double strain if possible) to remove ice chips. Serve immediately.
