A new year is here, and new 2024 offerings from Dunkin', Oreo, Reese's, and Sonic are on the way.

We've officially entered 2024, and there are plenty of exciting new drinks, snacks, and grocery items to ring in the new year. You might think the season of candy is over now that the holiday festivities have passed, but don't worry—these brands have your sweet tooth covered, at least into February.

Among the sweeter treats there are also a few new menu items hitting fast food chains nationwide. Buck the traditional diet-focused resolutions and make this year all about stepping outside your comfort zone and trying new foods. After all, who doesn't love a good savory, sweet combo?

Dunkin’ White Hazelnut Bark Coffee

America might run on Dunkin' every month of the year, but 2024's winter menu has the intriguing new addition of White Hazelnut Bark Coffee. Dunkin' says the new flavor is inspired by one of the brand's most popular seasonal flavors, Toasted White Chocolate Swirl. White Hazelnut Bark combines toasted hazelnut with the sweetness of creamy white chocolate flavor, available hot or iced for a limited time.

Oreo Peanut Butter Cakesters

Oreo is bringing two new cookie varieties to its permanent lineup, and one limited-time cookie is hitting shelves alongside them. Gluten-free Oreo fans can rejoice since the brand has made OREO Gluten-Free Golden Cookies a permanent offering. The brand has also decided Peanut Butter Cakesters are here to stay. But, you'll need to act fast if you want to try Oreo's Black & White Cookie variety, as those are only available for a limited time.

New cereals from General Mills

General Mills has decided to start 2024 by debuting a lineup of new cereals suited to every type of breakfast craver. Big fan of peanut butter? How about marshmallows? There's Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers Puffs cereal and Trix with bunny-shaped marshmallows. Plus, Lucky Charms now has a Berry Swirl variety, which includes strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry flavors. All the cereals can be found on grocery shelves at nationwide retailers and online.

Cinnamon Roll Pizookie at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

Available now at all BJ's locations, the new Cinnamon Roll Pizookie is on the menu for a limited time. The shareable dessert is the restaurant chain's latest answer to its previous popular offering, the Monkey Bread Pizookie; the new menu item features "four freshly baked cinnamon rolls coated in homemade cream cheese icing, piled high with rich vanilla bean ice cream, and drizzled with a hot caramel sauce." It costs $8.25 (prices may vary), but if you order dine-in, takeout, or delivery on Tuesdays, the Pizookie only costs $5.

Hershey’s Snoopy Kisses

It might be January, but the best valentines get their sweetheart a gift far in advance. Hershey is dropping a sweet collaboration ahead of the February holiday. The Kisses Milk Chocolate with Snoopy & Friends Foils feature 18 pink and red designs of Snoopy and other beloved characters like Woodstock, Charlie Brown, and Lucy—a fun upgrade from the typical plan red and pink foils sold by the heart-shaped-boxful this time of year. The chocolates come in a 6.5-oz. package and will be available nationwide for a limited time.

Krispy Kreme Biscoff doughnuts

In 2023, Krispy Kreme released a Biscoff Cookie Butter Iced Doughnut that was so popular, the brand decided to roll it out again. This time it's returning in a collection with two new companions: the filled Biscoff Cookie Butter Cheesecake Doughnut and the Biscoff Chocolate Iced Cookie Butter Crunch Doughnut. They can be ordered in-store or for pickup, or for delivery via the Krispy Kreme app, and in select areas there will be six-packs of the collection delivered to grocery stores fresh each day.

Red Lobster Crispy Salt & Vinegar Shrimp

The Endless Shrimp promotion at Red Lobster has always been legendary, but now the restaurant has added our favorite potato chip flavor to the mix with its new Crispy Salt & Vinegar Shrimp, available for a limited time only. Served up with a side of ranch dressing, this new shrimp variety promises a "tangy twist" to everyone's favorite fried crustacean that takes your tastebuds on a "flavor adventure." Who's intrigued?

KFC’s new wraps

KFC has been tinkering with its fried chicken wraps since 2022, and it appears that 2024 is the year for new additions to the lineup. The fried chicken chain is adding three new wraps to its 2 for $5 deal: Now you can get Honey BBQ, Spicy Mac & Cheese, and Mac & Cheese wraps in addition to the Spicy Slaw and Classic varieties. Each wrap includes a crispy chicken tender dressed in either honey BBQ sauce/mayo/pickles or a cheddar mac and cheese made with a three cheese blend.

Oatly Unsweetened Oatmilk

Plant-based milks are still putting up a fight in the new year, and Oatly is sending a couple new contenders into the ring: Unsweetened Oatmilk and Super Basic Oatmilk. The two varieties both include less sugar than the original, as well as fewer calories and fewer ingredients overall. Both are sold in 64-oz. chilled cartons and can be found at grocery stores, including Albertsons, Kroger, Sprouts, and other retailers.

Sonic’s Peanut Butter Bacon SuperSONIC Double Cheeseburger

Beginning January 8, Sonic is adding a creamy peanut butter to both its burger and shake lineup. The Peanut Butter Bacon SuperSONIC Double Cheeseburger consists of two beef patties layered with creamy peanut butter, bacon, grilled onions, and cheese on a toasted bun. Sonic will also be offering a Peanut Butter Bacon Shake, and both new menu items will only be available for four weeks.

Starbucks’ new winter 2024 menu items

Starbucks is serving up a whole load of new items to kick off the year. First, there's the return of the Pistachio Latte and the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, the latter of which made our list of top menu items of 2023. Additionally, the all-new Iced Shaken Hazelnut Oatmilk Espresso is being added to the permanent menu, as is a new bakery item: Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes, a high-protein breakfast option consisting of egg, potato, cheese, chive, and spinach. Finally, the new Vanilla Bean Custard Danish will also join the pastry case for a limited time.

Frank’s RedHot Goldfish crackers

These spicy snacks were first introduced in 2021, with a brief return in January 2023—and now, Frank's RedHot Goldfish crackers are joining the permanent Goldfish lineup. Pepperidge Farm describes the Goldfish, available nationwide starting this month, as containing "notes of vinegar for the perfect tang and a premium blend of aged cayenne peppers for just the right blend of flavor and heat."
