Kendra has been a freelance writer for over ten years and a features writer for The Takeout since fall 2024. Before joining the team, she wrote for other websites, covering everything from traveling tips to movie/TV show reviews. She's also leaned into her writing experience to help with campaigns during her time in the marketing and advertising industry and has her own website, where she likes to cover various topics. You can find her reading, going on adventures with her partner and two Boston Terriers, or watching various Gordon Ramsey cooking shows in her spare time. She's not the best cook, but she loves trying new recipes and finding new spots around her city to indulge in.

Kendra graduated in 2011, earning a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Psychology.
