  • While she's fallen in love with her marketing and writing career, Karenna dreams of one day owning a candy store or becoming an FBI agent.

Experience

Karenna began her writing career right after college as a newspaper reporter in upstate New York. After a few years, she opted to be on the other side of news and moved into public relations, communications, and marketing across edtech, non-profit, and corporate sectors. Throughout her career, writing has always been a core function of her roles, from crafting emails, ad copy, video scripts, blogs, and everything in between. Naturally curious with a knack for listening, she loves telling stories through words — almost as much as she loves food.

Education

Karenna has a bachelor's degree in journalism and English from Indiana University in Bloomington.
