Experience

Julia has written and edited for Tasting Table since March 2022 as a freelance features editor. She loves to keep up with current coffee trends, find hidden restaurant gems in Philly and New Jersey, and travel to different states and countries to discover more delicious eats outside her region. Julia is also a brunch enthusiast and an avid reader (cookbooks included). After a childhood of devouring books from the public library, she went on to the University of Florida to learn to write the words she was so mesmerized with. Julia was the editor-in-chief of her university's chapter of Spoon University for three years, writing and editing nonstop. Julia has edited for and been published in publications like Philadelphia Magazine, The Independent Florida Alligator, and Trash Mag.
