Originally from the U.S. Midwest, Dylan worked in the restaurant industry for three years before moving abroad. He now teaches English in Madrid and writes content articles for several publications, specializing in travel guides and including other passions such as cuisine and healthy living. Even after settling into life and routines in Spain, Dylan believes every day living abroad contains a year's worth of valuable lessons, from learning how to navigate new cultural interactions to finding inspiration for his next recipe. He considers himself both a budget traveler and chef, striving to find the best balance between cost, convenience, and quality.

Dylan earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish culture and language at Augustana University in his hometown. His studies were the catalyst that encouraged him to move abroad, armed with a love for languages and new cultures.
