Asshole YouTuber May Go To Prison For Feeding Homeless Man Toothpaste-Filled Oreos
We were getting a little worried, as here we are on Friday without a viable candidate for our "Asshole Of The Week" title. Then YouTuber ReSet (né Kanghua Ren) pulled a prank so shitty and mean, he might go to jail for it, and our search was over.
The Barcelona-based knob-head, who has more than a million subscribers, took the cream out of double-stuff Oreos and refilled them with toothpaste. He then put them back in their original packaging and gave them to a homeless man. The Independent says, "The 20-year-old, who is originally from China, then captured the moment that he engaged in a brief conversation with the 52-year-old man, named by authorities as Gheorge L," before giving him the Oreos, along with a 20-Euro note. As Gheorge eats the offensive cookies, Ren states for the camera: "Maybe I've gone a bit far, but look at the positive side: this will help him clean his teeth. I think he hasn't cleaned them since he became poor." Gheorge, not realizing the cookies had been altered, said, "I got sick after five minutes and threw up." Perhaps suspecting that this (now-deleted) video was not the best p.r. move, Ren then offered the man 300 Euros to keep quiet about the incident. What a privileged, entitled waste of human space.
Fortunately Spanish authorities agree with us, pointing out that previous delightful pranks by this gaping black hole of decency include offering "sandwiches filled with his cats' excrement to children and elderly people, prosecutors claimed." Ren "is now facing a charge of a crime against moral integrity. Spanish prosecutors are seeking a two year prison and pursuing an order to pay €30,000 in compensation to the homeless man."
Good. We hope he winds up in prison where his fellow inmates serve him toothpaste for dessert every single day.
