A dog inadvertently started a small fire in Austin, Texas this week. The temptation here would be to say, “oh, bad dog,” save for two things. Item one: All dogs are good dogs. Item two: It’s because he or she was trying to get a pizza, and who among us has not started a teeny tiny fire in our haste to devour a pizza?
You may have noticed some new YouTube videos of late featuring bears just marching into people’s houses and taking stuff. Like this guy, who crawled through a California kitchen window this month, lured in by a bag of M&M’s on the counter.
Yogi Bear would definitely forgo the pic-a-nic basket in favor of these treats. MLive reports employees of Michigan’s Department Of Natural Resources will soon try to bait bears—in an effort to count and survey them—with piles of doughnuts and bacon. (They may end up with a Takeout writer in the trap instead, FYI.)
