All-you-can-eat buffets at fast-food restaurants might sound like urban legends, but they exist. You can still find KFC buffets, but on a small scale and in specific locations.
In the 1980s, KFC buffets were plentiful, but many locations ditched the steam tables and hot plates by the 21st century, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Facebook group KFC Buffet Aficionados has up-to-date information on locations. They can be found in Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
At the buffet, expect to find classic menu items like fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits. Some visitors have even found unexpected dishes like fruit cobbler.
